Lyda is a dynamic trio of musicians who play traditional Irish music blended with gypsy and jazz influences. The trio made up of Niall Connaire (fiddle/whistle), Sean Ahern (guitar/vocals) and Darragh Kearns-Hayes (Double Bass) met while studying together in the Cork School of Music's BMus degree course but only began playing together after finishing their studies there.
